May is the month for love. Nature is wide awake, ready for the summer months and we can start enjoying the more stable warm weather wearing sandals and shorts.

With the more frequent sunshine, I love how so many people become more positive and happy, especially if they’re following their dreams!

We’ve prepared a special event calendar for each day in May 2022 to inspire you!

Pick one, or a few, and create content around them for each week! When you complete the form below, you’ll be able to download the calendar and either print it out or just keep it in your laptop folder for the days you’re creating content and need some ideas and inspiration. We’ve found people love to be reminded about any relevant special days happening each month.

Remember, it’s not just about content to fill your social media but about creating genuinely interesting posts for people you care about - your audience.

5. Create a Social Media Calendar

It will give you a good overview of what you need to do and how to follow up on your audience! Don’t be shy to get inspired by our content calendars that we publish each month 🙂 

6. Share a Quiz

You can create a quiz using Google forms, Typeform or Trello and sharing it on your social media with your audience. It’s a great way to get to know what they like, what their pain points are and what you could support them with.

7. Create A Facebook Group

You might already have a Facebook account you’re using for your brand but have you set up your own Facebook Group?

This would give you more intimacy with your customers where they can equally share their thoughts and ideas with you. People are also more inclined to engage when they’re a part of a closed knit community as they don’t feel judged.

8. Use Different Formats

From time to time try to use different content formats for your social media. If you use only images, try to use videos or gifs. If you use only videos, try to use some images.

Take advantage of all the formats you can use on each social media platform you use. Use reels, stories or live video.

9. Quality Is More Important Than Quantity

Focus on quality of your content. Is it relevant to your brand and audience? Does it provide value to your customers?

Releasing content every day just for the sake of it withouth focusing on quality can actually hinder all your efforts. Use the time you have to create quality content and don’t stress about posting all the time just people somebody else is doing it.

10. Sharing Your Peer Businesses

Sharing is caring as they say so sharing relevant content from similar businesses on your social media is a way of showing you truly want to support not only your audience but your fellow business owners too!
